| Job Description: |
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, verify, and process credentialing and re-credentialing applications for providers.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of applications to insurance companies, payers, and credentialing bodies.
- Review provider documents for completeness and accuracy, including licenses, certifications, malpractice insurance, and education records.
- Maintain and update credentialing databases and files to ensure all provider information is current.
- Communicate with providers and internal departments to obtain required documentation and resolve credentialing issues.
- Monitor and track license expirations and re-credentialing deadlines to maintain compliance.
- Assist with audits and respond to requests for credentialing information.
- Stay current on federal, state, and accreditation credentialing regulations and standards (e.g., NCQA, CMS).
- Support provider onboarding and enrollment processes as needed.
